The Haas School of Business is located on the U.C. Berkeley campus in the San Francisco Bay area. As the second-oldest business school in the United States, Haas is one of the world’s leading producers of new ideas and knowledge in all areas  of business — which includes the distinction of having two of its faculty members receive the Nobel Prize in Economics over the past 15 years.  The school offers outstanding management education to about 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students each year who come from around the world to study in one of its six degree granting programs, and has over 36,000 alumni. The Haas School’s mission is to develop innovative business leaders — individuals who redefine how we do business by putting new ideas into action in all areas of their organizations, and who do so responsibly.  Diversity is a key strength of Berkeley, and students in the Haas School come from a variety of backgrounds and reflect the makeup of today’s business world. The school’s distinctive culture is defined by four key principles — question the status quo; confidence without attitude; students always; and, beyond yourself.
The Berkeley MBA prepares you for leadership in any type of organization, through a broad-based general management curriculum taught by distinguished researchers and practitioners.
